Hazelnut kernel meal is the remaining part of the hazelnut kernel after degreasing by dissolving (extraction) with various oil solvents or squeezing with expeller or ordinary press. In some studies on the effects of hazelnut kernel meal, which is especially rich in protein source, on growth, body composition and weight gain in dairy cattle, fish feeds, broiler rations and small cattle, it has been demonstrated that it can be used as an alternative vegetable feed raw material.
